I’m Hiring a Chief of Staff

The Ask and The Offer

I’m looking for a true force multiplier—someone who can thrive in a lieutenant role for the time being, someone who makes everything run more smoothly, more beautifully, and with less friction. Your superpower is execution: turning chaos into clarity, to-dos into done, and big visions into buttoned-up logistics. You will be the go-to person for keeping me organized and operating at the highest level — handling scheduling, managing communications, streamlining systems, and ensuring key projects (both personal and professional) stay on track.

And in return? You get a front-row seat to a crazy, exciting, eclectic set of initiatives across industries and domains, and generally with some pretty amazing people:

  • Collaborate with me on consulting projects, board work, and advisory roles

  • Help shape and support investments across early-stage tech, consumer brands, and Broadway

  • Be in the room (and often running the room) for salons, events, dinners, and retreats

  • Assist in building several new ventures I’m working on

If you can bring calm and excitement, precision, diligence, and grace to this collaboration and if you find joy in giving shape to this whirlwind — this role could be for you.

Responsibilities

Your job is to help me operate at my highest level by handling everything from inbox triage to event coordination, boomerang gatekeeper to multi-threaded scheduling, vendor management to publishing logistics. • Calendar management and scheduling across personal and professional domains

  • Inbox triage, drafting replies, and correspondence follow-up

  • Coordinating meetings, travel, speaking engagements, and events

  • Creating and maintaining systems for boomeranged emails, task and project tracking

  • Supporting content, media, speaking and publishing initiatives

  • Handling errands, purchases, and personal to-dos

  • Acting as a liaison between me and external stakeholders

  • Maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment

About You

  • Ideally Based in New York City with the ability to meet in person but open to remote

  • Highly organized and systems-minded; you thrive on making chaos orderly

  • Detail-obsessed with excellent follow-through

  • Tech-savvy (comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, ChatGPT, etc.)

  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal

  • Flexible, discreet, and unflappable under pressure

  • Comfortable supporting both personal and professional priorities
